My clients with their young children were very keen to change their uninspiring garden into an area that all of the family could enjoy. A raised porcelain terrace was built so that it was on the same level as the Kitchen floor for easy access. Added raised beds and planting around the terrace were built to soften the hard landscaping and bring scent into the house. The garden at the back is the children’s secret garden with trampoline and a climbing frame. It is hidden from the main garden by a border full of planting and pleached Beech trees. There is a cutting garden to the side of the Kitchen so the house is always full of flowers. Planting style in the main garden is cottage style in pinks, whites, purples and blue.
